Santa Clara Convention Center Hosts the NNL Western Nationals

If you ask any of the NNL West participants what their favorite location for the NNL Western Nationals is, nine times out of ten they will say the Santa Clara Convention Center. This venue offers things that can't be found elsewhere; central location for California modelers, airport access for out of state modelers, light rail just outside the front door, free parking in a three story parking garage, and then there's that 25,000 square foot hall. It's a fantastic venue for our annual event!

The Santa Clara Convention Center is located at 5001 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, (408) 748-7000 (Next to Hyatt Regency Hotel, across from Great America). Southbound or Northbound 101 Exit at Great America Parkway and head North. About 1/2 mile on the right, after crossing Tasman Drive, turn right on Bunker Hill Lane. Follow the signs to the 3rd Level of the Convention Center parking garage. Then follow the signs to the Convention Center Entrance. Westbound 237 Exit at Great America Parkway. Go south 1 mile, the Center is on your left, at the corner of Tasman Dr. Regardless of which route you take, for your convenience, park on Level 3 of the parking structure. We're in Hall "A" on the main floor.
The Hyatt Regency Hotel is located just behind the Convention Center and is connected to it with a long hall way. If you can afford to stay at this four-star hotel then it's a great way to enjoy the NNL. Many of us remember the early years when we held the NNL at the Sunnyvale Hilton across the freeway from the Convention Center. The Hilton has built a whole new hotel just across the street from the Convention Center, The Hilton Santa Clara , and I think you will find many of the NNL participants staying at the Hilton.
